Just a decade ago, Poland had only one Michelin-starred restaurant. Today, there are seven and 80 MICHELIN-recommended places. Behind this leap is more than just fine dining, it's a sign of a changing market.

Shift toward premium experiences

As Polish households gain spending power, consumers are shifting from essential to more premium experiences. Food and wine are at the heart of this transformation. Culinary curiosity is rising, along with a desire for authenticity and conscious choices. Wine, once a niche in Poland, is now a growing passion of this awakening market, mostly through imports and recently with its emerging local production.

In this search for flavor and story, Georgia naturally finds its place on Polish tables. As the birthplace of winemaking, Georgia brings history and soul to the glass, and it’s growing well, with double-digit growth in exports to the Polish market. Tastes in Poland are changing, and Georgia is becoming a key part of the journey.

A day of culture, craft, and connection

Another chapter of this incredible story opened during the second edition of the Georgian Grand Tasting on June 3rd in Warsaw. It was a day filled with Georgian winemaking culture and craft. During the event, over 20 passionate Georgian producers brought their wines to life, eager to share their stories and connect with Polish importers, sommeliers, and distributors.
